ABOUT OUR RATES
We haul hay! Our 48'stepdeck trailers can handle 615 small square bales, 24 -4x4x8 bales, 36- 3x4x8 bales, 56 3x3x8 bales or 32 large round bales.
The high cost of fuel has forced us to raise rates and impose the fuel surcharge. Our rates are still lower than most other carriers.
Due to the fact that most areas that hay is delivered to are remote and "off the beaten path" and the fact that fuel is quite expensive our rate for hay hauling is now on per loaded mile basis.
If you require your hay to be tarped we charge a tarping fee . A tarping fee is necessary due to the rough nature of hay. Hay will destroy a set of tarps in a very short time. Truck tarps are NOT cheap, therefore it is necessary to charge this fee.
We allow 2 hours to load a truck and 2 hours to unload before we charge any additional time. Most people have an adequate unloading crew or tractor available so the 2 hour time limit is realistic.
Our rates for hauling GENERAL COMMODITIES are competitive especially for over-dimensional loads.
