BALE MASTER HAY CONDITIONER is an acid-free hay preservative which allows you to bale up to 25% in small square bales and up to 20% in large round or square bales.

You will find that BALE MASTER not only allows you to bale hay at a higher moisture to preserve leaf retention and nutrition, but in our own personal testing we found that BALE MASTER actually ADDS to the Crude Protein level of Alfalfa Hay by 2-5%.
Additionally, we compared bales from the same alfalfa crop treated with BALE MASTER and some without. After both groups being stored under cover for 10 months we found that the group treated with BALE MASTER had retained all of its green color, leaf retention, acceptable moisture level of 15% and was in all around "just baled" condition. The group that was not treated with BALE MASTER was dried out, faded green color, losing leaves and in general just "last year's hay".

BALE MASTER is a dry powder which is applied directly onto the hay using a Gandy Box mounted on the baler. Depending on the size of the bale you produce, BALE MASTER costs $0 .05-$0.08 cents per small square bale bale. Bale Master is applied at a rate of 1-2 pounds per ton.
BALE MASTER lets you put up premium hay that lasts! BALE MASTER will let you sell your hay in February and March for the same prices if not more than hay sold right after cutting.
